The schedule of my real job (no metal detecting is NOT my real job . . . . . ) will have me on changing hours and working more hours than usual for the next 30 days or so and as a result, I will have very little time to look at the forums much less post detailed responses to questions as soon as they are posted.
The reason I wanted to post this is because I will not be posting as much or as quickly as I have - especially since the X-70 was announced - simply due to work constraints and not as some may think, that I am ignoring them.
Hopefully the information on the X-70 that I gained from my testing over the past months has been of use to those of you looking at this new detector from Minelab. I appreciate the positive comments and feedback from many of you and for those that felt the need to PM me or post the complaints calling me a "Minelab shill", "someone that sugar coats things", etc., well, I hope you find your perfect company and metal detector . . . . if Minelab is not the match, keep looking!
I will be checking in now and then but if you do not get an immediate response - either to a post or E-mail - recognize that the ol' 9-to-5 (or in this case 6P-to-6A or whatever each day brings) comes first . . . . but I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Interested to see the feedback start to come in on the X-70 as others get theirs and start using them.
Good luck in the field with whatever you are swinging . . .
