Hey y'all! I haven't posted here in a coons age! <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Heck, I haven't found anything! I got this today in a Rev. War camp. Somehow I don't think it's that old. It's the size of a silver dollar and I believe it's brass. My first thought was pocket watch. But I'm really not sure that's it. What do ya'll think? Sorry...the picture came out huge! <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock">
 
The back looks odd. I have never seen a "bar" like that on a pocket watch? Whatcha think?
 
Could that be a clasp on the back?
Possibly a monogramed tie bar or m'ladies hair barrett?
 
Definitely looks like some kind of signet pin/clasp, or open bar that has broken off. Possibly for a coat, or shoe, or tie, a scarf?...heck let's hit them all...a saddle, bridle, auto, stagecoach, travel bag, a tent...??? <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> I haven't a clue...I just enjoy this place! Good luck...
