have not been able to hunt anywhere but my yard so far been busy at work. I did find a pellet and two fired 22 bullets and a nickel , using 6 inch dd coil.

That's the best place to start is in your yard.
[size=medium][/size]You got a good machine, I love mine. Practice with the tones(use 3 or 4) and depth meter. Get a feel how accurate you are. Also practice on digging holes w/cloth to develop neatness and speed(efficentlness) as this will help when you go to the battlefield. lol

Now that you have a 70 what happens to your 50? Saw in your signature you have a XT50 also. Keep it for the wife and kids or friends?
I notice you started with a BH, that seems to happen a lot.

I sold my 50 to one of my friends he has a bounty hunter quick draw. I like my bounty hunter for some things I have found lots of things with it, But now i hardly use it at all it is my back up. Thanks for reminding me about my signature.
