Off half day today. Nice warm day breeze blowing.. 1920's built park....get the picture ??

Well I got a good target........on the T2........ attempted to dig it.. NO way..Ground was so hard the blade actually started to bow from the resistance.
We have had a lot of rain..very surpised the ground was that hard.. Last week it was fine.

Maybe we will get a downpour in a day or two.. I have an Old farm sight I have permission to detect. First House built 1804, Second house around 1870....

:buds: heres hoping for rain.

Sounds like the ground out here in the desert , it is always rock hard until the rain . Problem is... very little rain in Arizona .:hot:

Time to hit the beaches ole buddy..or a lake..or a stream. In my area we had some good and much needed rain over the 4th weekend, but our temps. are now well into the 90's again so I will be digging in ground shortly like you are. Give Richard a shout and we'll all meet on the water some place.:beers: HH jim tn

Hey Elton we are in bake mode here also! I am really trying to find areas of lots of shade.

Good luck on the rain, Beale.

I thought things were pretty bad here...we haven't had decent rain for years. When we get showers we have a window of 3 or 4 days when it's comfortable hunting (&digging). Sounds like you blokes are in the same boat. If we all turned our minds towards rain at the same time, would that be a think-tank or a rain-tank.(I really do apologise for that, I dont know what came over me). Hope the ground softens up for all of us. All the best.
