Well, I usually only get out once on the weekends but I had to take my daughter to the girl scout camp about 25 miles from where we live. She had to have some training because she is going to be part of the staff there this summer for all the little scout kids. Wife said, "why don't ya go detecting while she is out there for 3 hours instead of driving all the way back home again?" Since I always do what my wife tells me, I obeyed.
I hit an old farm house that gave up this beauty of an Indian head. I could tell it was gonna be a nice one because outta the hole I could see how clear the Liberty was in the head band. Check out the before picture. Didn't know for sure what the date was till I gave her a little bath. Another 1867, what are the odds? This one is in super condition. I like when that happens. Still needs a few more baths. Also found some older wheaties.
