That's a nice coin collection.

I see some very old coins. What state do you live in?

Do you beach or water hunt?

hey tabdog, i live here in central va. just south of richmond. lived in va. just about all my life. as you can imagine, the relic hunting is very good around here. the closest beach to me is 2 and a half hrs away,[va. beach] ive never beach detected but see a lot of ol boys doing it when i go there. the 1781 half reale was found at a colonial homesite in staunton,va. 1986. the 1795 2 reale was found at a similar homesite in richmond,va. 2 yrs. ago. the 1773 1 reale was found in the battlefield next door to my house last summer. also thousands of wheats and other moderns. really too much to list, but hey,its a lot of fun...thanks for checking out the pics,and hh
