Then let me apologise for those with no understanding of what it means to be a soldier. Too many of these left-wing protesters are nothing than mere pawns being used to further a politicians agenda! I will remember, that Freedom isn't free! :usaflag:
 
Later when attending college, you did not dare tell anyone that you were a Vietnam vet. It took a long time for the bitterness to go away. My only comment on this subject. Kelley (Texas) :sad:
 
I know that my father had a very difficult time after the war. His main solace was in his buddies..

A friend who was a SFC wore his dress blues home. He is inside the airport lounge and some little old gray haired lady comes up to him and says, " Grab my bags boy, they are sitting over there." He did not say a word, and picked them up and carried them outside. He got a $2 tip. It could have been worse, {but he never traveled in dress blues again}. [Still the haircut does tend to give us away.]
