I've had my detector for two months and have found two clad Roosevelts that were...uh..."modified". Let's see your most mangled coins!

Guess which one gave me a funky reading!

The quarter on the left was found a couple of weeks ago, the 1941 silver quarter on the right was found in an old park about 10 years ago. A hunting buddy found one piece of it the first time we hunted the park, next trip he found two more pieces and the third trip I found the other piece. The three pieces he found were within a few feet of each other, the piece I found was a good 50 feet away. Link is to story about hunting the old park where the cut quarter was found.

I think this one was not only hit with a lawnmower, but chewed up by an evil gremlin and spat out.

my hubby found a mystery coin that was flattened and broke right half. think it was a penny due to the inside being copper but it was the size of a nickle.
