Lets see your BEST ever condition SLQ

Everytime I see a real nice SLQ posted on different forums, there is always at least one person who comments that is the nicest SLQ they have ever seen dug. I don't want to see your most valuable one, (semi key or key date, unless it is your nicest condition one) just your BEST condition Dug SLQ you have EVER found.

I have a feeling there have been some MIGHTY fine looking ones dug and want to see them!!!! I have dug quite a few SLQ's myself but only a couple I'd consider crisp looking. Post em up please!

In the first two weeks after my E-Trac purchase, I found this 1929 Standing Liberty Quarter, in a hard hunted park in KC, in Oct 2010. The best one that I have found to date.

1917 D, Type One. Found June 25th of this year.

not as good as some but it`s my best...I haven`t found one with my e-trac yet but hopefully it will come.

Wow Digger! Not only a near uncirculated coin, but it looks like a very strong strike. The head of Liberty is super sharp.

Digger, That is a beautiful type 1#!!! I,m glad you didn't scratch it. HH

Here is my best found in a bean field in Ohio 1918-D

You all have found some very nice SLQs indeed, congrats!

This is my second best one found in 1987 at an old school. It came out of the ground toned exactly as you see it. My first one was the second silver quarter and one of the first silver coins that I found shortly after getting into metal detecting in 1982. It was so detailed that I didn't know what it was at first, since I had only seen worn and flat ones in pocket change during the1950s. Regretfully I sold it.

Man I love the toning on that coin! It is amazing! I got to get out and find one as it has been a couple years since my last one.

Thanks for the comments. In addition to a clear date and mintmark, the thing(s) I noticed when I rinsed it off what that I could actually see her individual toes. Not to mention the part of her upper anatomy that was covered in the Type 2 series. HH Randy

Me Too! Fortunately, this one was pulled from an old park. Most of my detecting is done in farm fields, where there is a greater chance of the coins being hit by implements over the years. I was surprised to find this one in an area that I've personally gridded off and detected many times in the past. HH Randy
