Let me hear your detector

Nothing irks me more than find a video that interests me only to hear the operating telling me .. "there's a nice solid hit" I am viewing your video to learn something.
I want to hear the detector every single pass. Tell me what you are using.. how its set up and leave the headphones in the car. Metal detecting videos and headphones to not go together. That gives me a chance to hear how different machines report items I am familiar with.
Please ... You can show me your id screen but way more important ...... let me HEAR it... Always.

Good idea. I use a Tesoro, it goes BEEP. Beep... KEN

I agree with you 100% and in saying this I will provide a video of the Sovereign GT with audio! In this situation I had located a wheat penny that was surrounded by iron. There is so much iron in this little area that the 10" Tornado coil just constantly nulled and I couldn't detect one good signal. That is until I connected the big Tornado's little brother. This is the Tornado 8" (Actual 7 3/4") in action. I managed to sniff out an amazing amount of wheat cents and silver dimes with this little coil. I am not sure how familiar you are with the Minelab Sovereign series, but one has to scan slow, low and incorporate the sov wiggle into the mix. .

Right click on the video and "open link in a new window".

I agree!! Don't just show me the target on top of the plug after the dig and then cut to the next one.
Explain from the beginning why you chose the area and the spot to hunt, show me your settings and why.
Then show me the swing, the hunt, the bad signals and the good. Show the whole dig!
Just seeing the target after all the effort informs no one, educates no one and passes on no skills.

Thanks for the dittos. I see I was so wound up.. I made a couple of typos.. I would fix them but do not see a edit link.

May warmer weather come back soon.

One more question.. Why is my original post the only one not in bold print? Are my dues behind or what??
