Let me get this right......

...say I'm detecting a front yard. In one certain area about 3foot by 3foot the detector makes no noise at all. I am assuming there is some large metal under this area. Ok, lets say I'm right. So in order to get any coin signals in this 3x3 area the best thing would be to try to detect in the iron mask screen? Or even less disc. then that? I have a home site that is like this and just know that there are some coins in this area that are being masked out. So would the iron mask screen be the best way to go in a situation like this? Thanks, Jim C.

yes, thats saying that the iron isnt so large it will over ride all signals, might even drop iron mask to -16 and run ferrous mode over that spot and listen for any high tones...
