Began the spin yesterday evening with coastwise at 6p. We had light s winds 5-10 and was hunting into a 851p -0.7L. Began running the Mark II as the surf area we were hunting was clean. Lemme tell ya that the lemo pirate was HOT last night. When I got there he already had 1, then he walks over to show me in his scoop and I see gold there. Then I look up at him later and he's holding up 3 fingers and I ain't found 1 yet. Only ended up with a ferrous hoop and $1.10 with the Mark II. I think it has issues. Sending it off on tuesday. Switched to the Excal around 9 and ended up with $1.33, 14k hoop (never had a gold hoop before) and the rang looked so good. I knew that honker wuddn' real. .925 w/CZ, but like my buddy Max says, "I'll take it"! About an hour before my departure, I spoke to a new pirate that I had not seen before. He does not have a forum name, so I'll call him DFX Doug from Katy. Seems Doug located my diggins on the walking liberty silver eagles. Would you believe he found 8 more and a gold & silver ring? He has a muncher coil on that unit. Enjoy and look for coastwise to put his up later. I should be taking a nap right now for the night hunt, but don't wanna get behind on me posts. Enjoy!

Ran the Excal from 630p-1215a through a 930p -0.9L se winds 10-15. Was solo this evening. Heard spanky and john did well in the day shift, but had no specific details. Hunted hard and long and could only muster $3.23 and didn't take a pic cuz ya'll know what coins look like. Time to change location. This surf area has had a lot of pressure. Went to the silver eagle line and gave it a go for 1-1.5 hours and could not even hear a peep.

I have a couple rings like that GH.. Jeweler told me if stones were real would have been worth 15k.. Why these people wear fake stuff beyond me but we should complain lol...

Hey GH...at least you have something to post...course I could post all the clad I'm getting which is the extent of my hunts the last 2 weeks. I went to the lake with the Mark II last weekend..and to my surprise there were 3 other guys workin the water about waist deep. I eased myself into the lane ..but all I could muster is $1.30 in clad. Guess I'll change my name to Clad-Man !!! LOL Glad to see someone getting some good stuff ..even if its Nitro..sure shines tho !! Keep the pics comin !!!
