legacy 3300 test drive

took it out this morning and was surprised by how well it preformed not as deep in the disc mode or all metal as the ace 250 but a pleasure to pinpoint with. in the all metal pinpoint mode its a freaking monster i don't think i want to keep digging that deep. this will definitely be my relic hunter. light weight and real easy on the arm. the 4 tones are easy 2 distinguish, the target id was o.k i liked how they stayed put after lifting the coil off the target. over all sweet machine for the $$$

BH is sending me a coupler, did you get a response from Victoria?

Thanks for the email address, and mentioning yours was missing too.

Does the ground balance work in the discrimate mode as well as the all metal mode?
Maybe they backed the senisitivy down because the 3300 is deeper than the Ace 250.

I just bought a Legacy 3300 and it was missing the coupler too. Sounds like they ran out of couplers and sent them out the door anyway. I emailed them and got one within a week.

PaulWV, the manual says the ground balance feature is for use in the pinpoint, no motion mode - where the senisitivy is just for all metal and descriminate, motion modes. I'm a newbie at this so I could be wrong but based on what the manual says, this seems to be the way it works.

The Ground Trac button only works in the All-Metals modes...the other modes use auto ground tracking...As far as I have been told, it is true auto tracking, but I still have my doubts...I personally think it is a preset Ground Balance.
