Went looking for oldies today but no luck for me. Mike got one a 1929-s Wheatie. We hit a pic nic area of a local park for a while. I got 16 quarters,7 dimes,2 nickels, and 15 pennies. When dumping my pouch to count up my finds I seperated my meager beach finds from the day before. Mike picked up one of my junk pieces and it turned out to be a 1941 Merc dime someone had made into some kind of a jewelry piece. Did better at the beach than I thought. 2nd folk art coin I have found, the other being a Barber dime. Good luck all and God Bless.
