I have decided that the hardest part of being a "newbie" is to trust the detector. I've begun to really listen to what the ATP is telling me and I am beginning to have success. No silver/gold/rings yet but lots of clad and pennies. I have found several wheats but nothing else yet. I am ready for some rain to soften up the ground here in North Texas because getting more than 4 inches or so is almost impossible and I have been getting good signals deeper than I can dig right now.
Listening, taking my time, and learning.
