Learning the 11" DD on the F70

Nice day here but cool, just had to get out and try the 11"DD wife got me for my F70.

I must say, this coil completely transforms this machine. Very impressed with the depth and target separation improvement.

Hunt today was in a local newer park, 85 sens/thresh -2/SL mode/15 disc.

Rings are junk - silver one w/purple stone is plated copper - other is 18k hge - but still fun to find. Not sure on the pendant - no markings on it - green stone in center - jade, maybe? is jade semi-transparent?

Hey Kas, you should get to love that 11" dd, you running any kind of tones yet? I dont see how you guys can run that high of a sens. Especially in those new parks and shallow drops.
I've never tried SL mode yet, do you have to sweep slower? Is it intended for deep silver? You are right about that 11"dd, its like dropping a hemi into it! WTG!

I usually hunt in 4H, just what I've become used to over tht past year with this machine - lots of folks tell me I should try 2F.

This local park is the exception for EMI - so I can run my '70 hot here in this isolated park....most other local parks I'm at 75 with -6 thresh and de mode.

I find I can swing just as fast and not miss anything in SL - as long as the EMI is low.

yeah the 11 inch dd is better most of the time it does not id bottle caps as good as the 10 inch stock coil also i think the stock coil ids deeper targets a little better hh
