Learned something about my 2500 today

Worked a soccer field in Shawnee, Kansas today, and found my typical $1.00/hour in clad. One dime I found though indicated in a different manner. In coin mode, one pass over the target gave me a bell tone, and then no signal on the next pass. Went to all metal, and iron was indicated with an indefinite depth pattern(concentric circles). Pinpoint mode showed coin size but iron target. Dug up a clad dime at 7 inches. I guess I need to start looking at iron targets more often from now on. Anyone else ever notice this about their 2500?

It was your typical dark orange that older clad dimes turn to. Nice to know I can get that depth. The notching just was inacurate at that depth.
