lead soldier spill........

Here is my hunt from today. Found an entire army of lead soldiers under one tree. 1901 v nick a 1947 Rosie. A melted merc and few Wheaties. An old lock and some odds and ends u can see pictured

That's a great find! Wouldn't you say they are world war 1 soldiers? Very nice!
What do you use to clean your v nickels? they look great!

I use a sos pad under running water on all my old nickels, always have
 
Very nice unique finds with those lead soldiers. Like Jim D, I was wondering the age of them also.
I have always used brass brushes on my coins that I want to clean as that is pretty gentle on them.
Might have to give a sos pad a try also..
