Lead bullet needs ID please

Found this today at about 4 inches. Smaller than a minie but looks larger than a pistol bullet. Has rifling grooves. Any ideas are appreciated.

I have seen one of those before in a smaller caliber but have no idea what it is. Maybe some type of cleaner?

It looks to be a modern black powered bullet. Just my thoughts!!!

Some type of semi-wad cutter. Possibly for a 9mm or .38/357...d2

It is modern. Has age to it but not that old. Probably from the 1960-70s.

I think that d-2 has it nailed. The other thing it might be is a shotgun slug.

What is the diameter?
