I can't make a trip right now but maybe I can help get you to some ares that I know have great gold. If you are coming from the east of Laughlin going west you will go through Kingman and Bullhead City Arizona. Laughlin is about 40 miles west of Kingman and 20 miles west of Bullhead City, Gulches and gravel deposits at numerous localities in the Chemehuevis {Mohave} Mountains, in the southwest portion of the county; Silver Creek Valley, northwest of Oatman; placer deposits, in the low hills southwest of Kingman; all along the Colorado River; numerous rich placers in the Gold and Lost Basins, northeast of Dolan Springs {north of Bullhead City}; plus Wright Creek, draining the northeast side of the Cottonwood Mountains. Most people in the restaurants and gas stations in the area can lead you in the right direction if you ask. I have personally hunted these areas and they are rich they are also in my GPAA mining guide so have fun and good luck.
