Here are some of my latest finds from last weekend and yesterday. I thought I had me my first complete Spencer cartridge until it came out of the ground. I believe it was whole but broke when I was digging it out. Man it was muddy out there, and all the lead targets were deep as heck. Glad I put my Super 12 on before I left. The iron spike is listed in Crouch's Civil War Artifacts book on page 59. I believe it was probably used as a tent stake. Thanks for looking and Happy New Year.

Good Job Jonathon. I got out for a couple of hours yesterday at the monastery. Found a North Carolina sunburst button. Tried to post a pic but I can't get the size down small enough.
