There was a little gold and silver that found its way into my scoop the last few hunts using my Excalibur. The 14k white gold ring has CZ's. The 925 ring has fake stones as well, but I knew that it would before testing anyway. The 925 necklace is 24" long and was totally black and crusty when I found it, but cleaned up great! And then there is the nice 22k little pendent to top off the weekend. Till next time, happy hunting, John

Very nice finds!!!! How did you clean the neclace, ultrasonic bath???

I dipped it in "Connoisseurs" brand silver jewelry cleaner for about 30 seconds. This will loosen up the heavy duty grime. Then I took a cotton face pad and applied "Hagerty" brand silver polish to the pad. Hold the necklace with one hand and wrap the pad with the polish in the other. Apply some pressure to the pad and pull it all the way down to the end. Be carefull not to pull too hard or you could break the chain. The black grime will start to come off. Do this procedure untill you are happy with the result. Then I put it in an ultrasonic bath for about three minutes. This got all of the silver cleaner out of the small nooks and crannies. There you have it in a nutshell. John
