Latest deterent to finding micro gold....

I have lately been finding gads and scads or tiny circles of aluminum and molded iron/steel bits that are being used as jewelery on kids pants and shoes. These pieces of junk seem to be held on only with a very rudimentry amount of hot glue or are bent on type studs onto kids clothing. I am going to need to sstart using bigger magnets to attact hem to cut the amount of time I spend finding and removing them from the bark playgrounds.
Though some I think will not be attracted to magnets at all. When seeing m friends grandaughters sneakers I realized where the carp was coming from as here shoes had them glued all over the toes of the sneakers.

Yeah, I hear you there...got several more this am as a matter of fact...those bark playgrounds are even hard to see a penny in sometimes, though easy kicking and all..

Yes. We have to remember that while the GB/G2 will knock out iron like no one's business, it will hit on everything else amazingly well.

There are times I wish we never invented foil...

and we can add ...

aluminum pull tabs,
pry tabs,
screw-caps,
Capri sun juice packets,
disposable ketchup, taco sauce and other seasoning packets,
pencil's metal eraser tops,

and other modern nuisances. It makes me like finding and hunting the older sites more and more.

Yeah, but if it wasn't for those blasted, rotten, etc., etc. things---there wouldn't STILL be old coins (and gold) out there in the midst of it all.----I STILL don't like 'em tho!

I cruised through on the 13th on the way to our detector group outing at a ghost town, and on the way home my friends & I grabbed a room there, but we got underway EARLY the next morning when we could and I didn't have tome to give you a call .... or thin your local trash count more.

I will be passing through again maybe later this month, and again in August or September as it looks right now. Ummm... there's no need to go 'plant' some more pesky stuff for me to find, however. :nono:
