Last weeks variety of keepers from 3 different short hunts in same vicinity. From top clockwise: Lead button?, silver? thimble, Gold earring, Football bracelet, 1955D Roosie, 3 ringed bullet (help, ID?, not a civil war area). In the center is aerial gunner wings from WW2, sterling, (my favorite). Hot outside but still fun, thanks fer lookin'

Good variety of finds. Congrats !!

the lead button is a fishing weight. nice finds!

The lead button reminds me more of a drapery weight--sewn into the bottom hem of large window drapes to make them hang properly.

The lead item is in fact a hem weight... I have found about 4 or 5 of them around old homesites.
The bullet does look like civil war era to me, but I can't tell by the photo what type or caliber.
Try posting a better photo of the bullet including the bottom of it and that will help ID it for you.
Nice finds,
Felix
