I took it slow, looked for deep targets, found them, them the coin purse showed up at 2 inches with $2.62 in it. The 1946 wheat cent was at 5 inch depth, 1946 dime at 6-3/4, 1953-D dime at 7-1/2 and the 1941-D Dime at 8-1/2. I had fun but sure am sore. I will recover before the next hunt though.
I have found a few coin spills over the years, but that purse would be a coin dump !! And triple silver. My hunts aren't this interesting. This weekend is going to be hot.
80 degrees is not that bad, a breeze would be nice though. Remember last years 100 degree days? Now that was hot and I hunted some of those days. I must have been desperate to get out.
EDIT
I just saw an update on the weather....... jeez now they are saying 86 for Saturday, guess you are right Dave, thought the forecast was a lot less yesterday.
Maybe everyone should bring their head lamp/flashlight. If its to hot it might be a lot of fun to do that night hunt that everyone was subjecting earlier this year.
Our first stop weekend before last, was pretty dense woods, and the skeeters were making themselves known. This weekend won't be any different. And after dark it will be like setting up a buffet table for the little critters. Do they make a portable bug zapper?
Well well well You know I am going to be kicking that nights butt out there. I have my head lamp in my bay allready! Go look up REDLINE flashlights. best out there for a hunt like we are going to take on.
DIG IN THE DARK! DIG IN THE DARK DIG IN THE DARK!!!
