[/img] My computer was down for a couple weeks so I could not post for a while . Some eye candy from the last two hunts at the fairgrounds . The fairgrounds are closed for the year have to wait till next spring . Anyhow went back where the old grandstands were , tip from and old gentleman . Cleaned out a area 30 by30 so I think , The 6 inch coil is a dream in all this crap , I though the machine gun pit was bad but this place is the trash king of the fairgrounds . Found 99 100 101 102 103 and 104 silvers for the year . 4 Indians 84 91 92 and a 1906 , 2 of the Indians came in at 9 inches solid signals 12.35 the other 2 at 6 inches , 4 v nickels 95 00 02 and 1906 all at 4 to 5 inches , 1 1927 s buff also at 4 inches , 3 barber dimes 00 02 and a 1907 the 1900 came in at almost 10 inches  clear as a bell , 2 mercs 17d and a 1923 these came in at 6 inches , 1 1942 Washington quarter at 7 inches with a 6 inch bolt in the same hole , 1 Chinese coin 1 token and a play money also found about 15 wheat's all in the 20s . Elk hunting was a rain out rain 8 days out of 14 very wet but we did get a 6 by 6 in at 20 yards but no shot oh well there's next year .Have two does to cut up tonight and then back to work in the morning. Maybe get out one more time these year but been swamped with work . The ctx still amazes me at what it brings out of the ground . Hope you guys and girls got out . Sube

Fantastic harvest Sube. Your nickels come out of the ground looking great. Ours are so bad I don't bother to dig them anymore. :veryangry:

Nice......very nice, indeed!

Still killin it!

Very Nice Sube!

Unfortunately I still think I would be shot on sight digging at my counties fairgrounds..

And, to boot the previous fairground site from the 1800s is now a state trooper barrack, I haven't stopped by and ask for permission...

Great job, Sube. I got #99 earlier today, a 42S war nickel. Hopefully, I'll get the 100th one sometime this week and then I'm hanging it up for the year. I'm headed back to Montana on the 7th for the rifle elk season. It's good to see that your vacation didn't affect your detecting. You're still the "Barber Master".

That 6" coil is utter destruction for you Sube! Nice, nice bunch of all things good. Now, go cook up one of those Elk steaks....

You have to love the 6" coil

sube - Sounds like you need help with this site. Now,.......... where is it exactly?
