"Our" brush with the storm did nothing but sand in the troughs out in chest deep water 
Yesterday I met up with PI-Joe and Lou-CT for a little detecting at one of our favorite spots... I got there before they did and I saw a couple guys working our spot... Turns out it was a partner and friend of Gary Storm (Detector Pro Detectors) and he was introducing his brother-in-law to detecting... they both had Detector Pro detectors... between the 6 of us detecting there no one found any gold... the junk rings I found from another time at this spot but hadn't posted them because I have been so busy with work and family matters...
We did hear some great hunting stories from the past (70's) from Carter... and a few tidbits on DP detectors
I didn't feel like posting most of the junk...
