Wednesday during work I seen a parking lot at a 1908 school house that had been torn out. So after my daughters softball game that is where I went. I hunted it from 8:30 till about 10pm. I was hoping for an indian or old silver but ended up with 7 wheats, a marble, an old compact back, an old 4 hole button, and a washer looking thing from St. Louis.

Today I hit an 1800's farm house that I just got permission to hunt. I went early to beat the heat. Right away there were signals everywhere. It didn't take long to figure out that it was full of clad and trash! :( Hard to believe that I dug 31 coins and they were all clad! Not even one wheat! I also got a few doo-dads including a neat old heel plate. Not sure I will try that one again? Maybe after we get some rain? It is getting pretty dry here!
