Wednesday during work I seen a parking lot at a 1908 school house that had been torn out. So after my daughters softball game that is where I went. I hunted it from 8:30 till about 10pm. I was hoping for an indian or old silver but ended up with 7 wheats, a marble, an old compact back, an old 4 hole button, and a washer looking thing from St. Louis.

Today I hit an 1800's farm house that I just got permission to hunt. I went early to beat the heat. Right away there were signals everywhere. It didn't take long to figure out that it was full of clad and trash!
Hard to believe that I dug 31 coins and they were all clad! Not even one wheat! I also got a few doo-dads including a neat old heel plate. Not sure I will try that one again? Maybe after we get some rain? It is getting pretty dry here!
