Last two hunts.:garrett:

Drove up to Nashville last Friday forenoon for our grand daughters college graduation form MTSU in Murfreesboro on Saturday. Had a couple of hours for a hunt Friday afternoon so went to an older park that on occasion gives up a goodie or two. And, fortunately, it gave up a couple silvers, a 53d Rosie and a 63d Washington. The plate has Camp Mudd 2417.78....MJ Surplus??? 14 th Brigade....Special Forces. Haven't checked it out yet any further.

This morning I decided to work directly under a power line along a major thoroughfare that some of us had previously hunted, but all of us had some healthy emi issues with the detectors we were then using. I had on the NEL Sharpshooter this morning and in pro zero, 0 disc and max sen the A T ran quiet as a mouse when swinging. When laying the detector down, there was a little bit of chatter. Anyway, snagged a 49d Washington and a 46 Walking Liberty half. The half was partially masked with the 3" piece of metal shown just above the silvers. The half was about 4" deep and the quarter between 5 and 6." Also got 3 wheat cents, some clad and a pouch full of trash. HH jim tn

Lord have Mercy! :surprised:
You are one silver finding machine! Camp Mudd sounds like my kind of place! in fact, that sounds like a good name to call my retirement home!...which doubles as a bridge or a box .. as long as I dont have to take orders from some gungho Loowie (Wife)!...when are you heading to MN for your yearly sabbatical and walleye/silver extravaganza? I may just have to crash your party, I think I've got enough "work" done for the year...I know my way around a boat, can cut, cook and clean, tie knots, bait, and dispense chum pretty well after a few beers!.:puke:..you hunt the dirt, and I'll crawl into the water....

Jim that's an impressive bunch silver you got there. Especially the half dollar. The AT Pro does do a fine job handling EMI.

You're really hitting the silver this year and I can't wait to find my first half dollar. Of course, I would have to get out and do some dirt fishing.

Nice ones on the silvers.

Great hunts there Jim!! There's something nice about seeing dirt and silver together like that.

Jim, I'd love to pick your brain some time. At least when it comes to detecting, lol. You sure have the best luck!
Or is it luck? Anyway, congrats on an excellent couple of outings! Walking Liberty's are my favorite!

Wow, those halves make for a memorable day, and they sure ring the AT's chimes, don't they? You were smart to spread the family out so that you can cover some more territory, too!

Wow you always collects silver, do you have a special machine? Dealings with Lucifer? Was a currency tied with a rubber band to the coil?
Congrats, you are very effective
