Well, I'm now moved and settled into middle Tenn. Since the move and starting a business I haven't had too much time to get out and swing coil, however I did have the pleasure of meeting Sooper Dave and hunting with him last Saturday, as advertised he's a "sooper" guy. As he mentioned in his post we hit a park with little success but our fortunes turned once we got permission after door knocking. Dave wasn't going to let a yank out silver him and scored a couple mercs and a Washington. I was happy to get my first Tenn silver when I got a 1942 Washington that got into a scrap with the lawnmower. I learned quickly that us yanks have it spoiled not having to deal with these thick tough grass roots down here.
I had to come back up to Ohio for business on Monday and just before heading back home yesterday I snuck out and hit a park I've had success at previously. I was pretty happy to come up with a couple nice keepers, a 1909 Barber quarter and a 1925 SLQ, made the long drive home a little sweeter.
