Last Two Hunts, 1st Silver of the Year

On Sunday, I decided to go back to the school I have been detecting for the last couple of years. Did some aerial research and found out where the playground was back in the 50s (school was built in 1952). Went out for a couple of hours on Sunday and found my first silver of the year, a '56 Rosie. Also found an old jack, 6 clad dimes, and 1 memorial penny. Man I can't wait to get back out there this weekend.

I bought a 6x8 SEF coil and a Sunray X-1 probe (thanks Bill_S) and couldn't wait to get out and test them. Went out to the school for 30 min yesterday and found a clad nickel, a silver ring, and a cool token (I love finding tokens, my 3rd of the year so far). The front of the token says "Pontiac Chief of the Sixes" with a picture of an Indian. The back says "Product of General Motors"

I love the SEF coil. The sunray is awesome too, but will take some getting used too. It is a bit different coming from the Garrett PP.

Enjoy the pics!!

Any idea on a good way to clean it without damaging it??

Congrats on your first silver this year .. !!
