Last two Chesapeake Bay hunts

Got out with my buddy Scott last Friday then today with another friend at an old bay beach that is long gone. Did get a couple keepers, the coins are fairly much toasted. The Yellow ring tested 10k but sure smells like brass when rubbed so I am guessing old brass. Stones are not real.....

Joe - those old beaches really deliver. Did you take the boat?

Nice Finds. Congratulations on some successful outings.

I'm glad your finds good stuff OBN. I can't get past finding coin and junk. I can't even find a junk ring!!! Lucks got to change soon!!! I HOPE

Joe it will!!

Thanks Bob, she has no date wore down fairly bad on the other side.

It sure does MP. dag salt takes a toll on everything.

No Boat this time Barry, but that is coming. I just need to get hot on the downdraft fitting for it. I meet a guy last week on a jetski in the water and I asked him to gas it a few times, now that really shakes up the sand, I was really impressed when he put it in reverse. And the water was at 4 feet.

Thanks Mike, she has no date but it would be nice so I could date that area....coin been so wore may had been in the 30;s when dropped.

I hit the Bay this morning and came home with a few goodies, water is 82, but it started to get ruff by 8am

Then drove to the ocean, got a power nap and did 2.5 hours, got maybe 50 coins, several pennies...I am taking the CTX out in the morning, hate those pennies....

Joe,
Good luck with the CTX. I think I would dig those zincolns, thats were they college ring ID'ed. 12-36/37
Mike

Last two days....

ID'ed the broken bottle

OBN,
Congrats on the gold ... but boy how I love that you could ID the bottle!!!! And that bottle has tumble a lot in the sand. To me, that is all part of the treasure hunting! Well done!!!
Cheers,
tvr
