I been air testing my Garrett 1350,I am reading 9" with a penny and 91/2" with a quarter with factory setting.I tryed my Surfmaster factory setting,It pick up the same penny at 9" and the quarter at 9".

Falk air test his Tesoro,MXT,Garrett1250,and his garrett 250, and did not do as good as my 1350.

What are you guys and gals reading on a air test ??

Ya'll have fun now

Certain gas fumes can make a difference on the depth.

.... that's how you do a real test.

Go out and truly detect an area and seek a deep "iffy" target with any of the machines you are comparing. Then turn them on one at a time to see which machines signal on the iffy target with different settings / coil combinations / sweep speeds. Then dig the target. By process of elimination you'll see what machine performs best in your local soil conditions. JMHO
