Hello all, I haven't posted this week. Work + rain, etc and I was lazy. So I'm posting the last 3 hunts tonight.
Hunt #1 at "Silver Mine" Park. Found a pocket spill as it was getting dark in the trees. Thought at first I had a silver spill, but no such luck. Sorry Mike!
All the rest of the coins were from 70's to 2000's.
Oldest was Young Elizabeth, 1963 nickel. My first one.
Neat tiny fish. Lots of detail and what looks like a W on one side above the gills. Too bad he's missing his tail.
Junk "Friends" ring.
Hunt #2 at another park. All modern coins except for a 1964 young Elizabeth penny.
1964 penny. Looks like she went through a fire.
Rusty dart head, Old Navy buckle/badge?, Junk leaf jewelry, and aluminum cap with R on it.
Hunt #3 this evening at "Silver Mine" Park. Just as the sun was setting I got a item on my 2012 want to find list.
Brass ship? padlock(found at beach nearby), junk aluminum heart pendant, Chevy truck hubcap?, and 22 rimfire shell casing(unfired).
1917 Canadian Large Cent! The other pennies were all modern grot. But this was worth it. It rang up on the AT-Pro at 73-75, I thought I had another bottlecap, but nope!
GL & HH All!!
