Went with Kevin Sunday and found a 1917S half and a 1952 quarter. Yesterday went to the party spot and found a silver ring and a nice working Citizens watch. Today I went back to the place we hit Sunday and I had a blast. Four more silver quarters, two mercs and a rosey, four more silver rings, a nice heavy silver bracelet dated 1944, and a 1930 10K class ring. This is all at a public beach!! I also found a gun barrel for a 22 single shot pistol.

Other coins are 16 wheats, a 1907 V and a dateless buffalo. Lots of clad. What amazes me is 5 silver and one gold and no junk rings. Got to love that!! Pictures later tonight. I am at work leaving now for another dive at that spot and camera is at home!!

113 grams of silver and 5.9 grams of 10K. Need to build up my suppy again.

Wish me luck!

Well here are the pictures. Only found one more silver dime tonight. Kevin got a couple of silver. It was a great day to play in the big lake. Water was calm and clear. The beach we went to is very interesting and a lot of potential is VERY close to it. Pretty excited to go back and see what else is around there.

Enjoy the picts!!

Congrats, scuba....."had a blast" almost sounds like an understatement! That sounds like a spot most of us only dream about. Pulling that kind of history on a beach/water hunt is one of my favorite things ever. I've only had a chance like that a few times in my life, one being after Hurricane Ivan back in '06. I managed a couple of magazine articles just before and after that time due to a sequence of storms. I'll never cheer a storm on, but when the inevitable happens, there can be a heck of an adventure waiting on the beach.
Great finds!

Thanks Spounge. Yes another old beach on lake Huron. My oldest class ring came from a beach on this lake 1901. When I hit the shipping channel, I find bottles from the early 1800's. One of my favorite places to play. I hope to find the rest of that gun!!!! Got the barrel cleaned out no markings on it. But I am sure its very old.

Nice haul...Those ID bracelets must be old?....Never see them being worn any more,...you get a real smorgasbord of items when diving..HH GL

One is dated 1944, the top sterling one. I am guessing all from the 40's - 50's. But old?? I had one in the late 60's and I am NOT old!!!!!
