Got to hunt a new spot along the Mattaponi River here in Va. last Sunday. My brother got the large cent. Couldn't get the date but he's happy just the same. The landowner from next door came over to see what we had found and gave us permission to hunt his property the next time we come to hunt. He told us another relic hunter had found a VMI button. Good enough reason to go back! Thanks for looking.
 
What I would give to be back there & have the chance to find some of the good stuff.
