Hey David
I live near the north Atlantic we have several beaches in the area,we also have a lot of old ferry crosings.Most of my detecting,is done near bodies of water.

you fly the Lear Seaplane on up Maine way, and I'll take you tectin' over to the Wells/Moody/Ogunquit area.
If we see a guy on the beach with a name tag that says Pete and wearing five watches we'll know it's him.

I dunno.......Telling folks on the forum that I hunt at the south jersey shore never caused a stampede to my beaches.....ya gotta loosen up a bit Pete !!
