Just returned from a nice trip out east to the Great Lakes Region. Here is a pic of my wifey and I enjoying some quiet time on Flower Pot Island in Georgian Bay.

The food was good too! Hear's a healthy breakfast I had the following morning. Needed the fuel (bacon) to keep warm in the cold water with no wet suit.

After 3 water hunts and many sandy beach hunts, I got all this loot. Three pennies came out of the water, the rest was on the beach. No rings this trip.

Here's today's hunt. About an hour in the pouring rain. Found an unknown token and a silver spoon.

The "JIGGER"S BUCK" token above is a new one for me. I haven't been able to get any more information on it?

Well.......if you can't find a ring, you can at least make one. This stainless steel spoon-ring was a first for me, as it was pretty thin and easy to form. All the others I have found were just too thick to work with.

Great pics on what looks like a nice time with your Missus! :clapping: I'm surprised your detector is not sitting there on the rock next to you! She made you leave it in the car eh?

Vacations are great and it is always nice to have something to remember them by.
And you even have some money left for fun i.e. the Fun Money.
Loonies and Toonies sure help to add up your dollar count. Pennies take 100 times longer!
Trust you have no cholesterol problems. I never thought of a half a pound of bacon to keep me
warm in the colder waters that will soon be overtaking the ocean. Daylight time is getting shorter...

A good trip I'd say. A few items found.:clapping:

Glad you and your wife had some vacation time and you found some coins and those spoons. Bacon sandwich and fries remind me I haven't eaten since early today. I have a slab of bacon at home, but can't slice it right now and Mama can't see. I like to buy a slab and slice it as needed because it tastes better to me. I admire your ring making talent, John. HH.
