Well, no coins to speak of except a 1946 Wheatie, but the buttons were a plenty! Most are plain flat buttons in bad shape, and a few Zouave style buttons, but the very large bent button is a "dandy" button (circa 1790's) witch was around 11 inches deep.
The small tombac button at the top left was deep and had a VDI of minus 27, which is not unusual for these buttons. Once on the surface it was +14. This is the main reason I accept all targets down to minus 40.
I am not too sure what the tiny shield is, it is the second one I have found. Any help is appreciated.
