Got a new coil for my Explorer SE and went for a little test spin. Here's what I found........7 various sized musket balls of which two have teeth marks on them, one dropped .52 cal. Smith carbine and a fired .577 or .58 cal. Gardner. Thanks for viewing and HH!!

Not a bad haul considering how the soil is up by you right now. Must have been some tough diggin!

Scott: Looking at the tooth marks on your Round Balls. would not be surprised if they are not rabbit am enclosing some internet pictures.
Anyway here it is for what its worth. One of your photos shows a wide separation of front teeth and could be from "peg" teeth of rabbit.

Scott : Obviously I'm no dentist but the round ball just below the two bullets has got a very wide gap between the teeth marks.

Still very nice finds. Want to extend the thread? post some pictures of your human teeth prints. I like to see what you have found.

As always
Dave

Nice finds, Scott! Always good to dig relics! Even better when there's some CS relics thrown in!
