I went for a walk with my camera last night and found these little guys.
The first two are of the ugliest darn thing in the woods. I gotta get a bug book so I know what I am shooting.
I am still having a problem with the sharpness. I am now usning an external flash and it seems to be helping but it is not where I want to be yet.
It is funny but this stuff has elements of detecting in it. The hunt, the find and the cleaning it up to see what you have when you get home :0) worth about as much as those clads too
This first one is a little tree frog. He was about as long as a nickle.

and the next two are of some ugly damn bug but an interesting subject. I gotta find the trick to fine focus and sharpness...

Well, I really thought I captured the same bug, tho when I pulled up my photo, I noticed MANY differences. Ugly, though and well armored. My kids and I call this guy "King Stink" tho we have not squashed one to see if it is true to its name.

Keep striving for sharp focus, Royal, then let us in on how it is done -- I certainly have not figured it out as you can see in this image.
