Last night, started at 9th, headed north...... A big surprise!!

I didnt do to well last night, saw Mike, and Nighthawk. I do some pretty heavy digging, you will see. We had to stop and turn back because we then only had 1 scoop, the other was for dry sand, and didnt work too well in wet sand.

I was digging a deep target in the wet sand when this happened, this is my brothers scoop because i wore mine out. :) This scoop was made with a thinner handle though.

Here is mine, we are welding it later today. Not the same scoop as in previous picture.

Dont weld it...add a sturdy wooden handle! That's my two cents. I like wood handle because the stand striaght up in the water and they are pretty light too and solid. Luke removed his heavy D metal handle and baugh a lond handle shovel for 10 bucks. He got ridd of the shovel and bolted the wood handle instead. He too is now converted to wood handle like i've been for the last few years !
