Went hunting both Sat and Sun to my new honey hole. Got 22 wheats, a 43D merc and a 42 Washington. The Washington was interesting because on the surface I got a 12.40 @ 9in. Initially I thought it to be another wheat penny. I could only hear it from one direction because of iron masking. I almost didn't dig but the quality of the signal and the luck I had been having in this ground told me to dig...

Additionally, I got a large silver hoop earring, an interesting relic from the 1912 IL State Fair and a junk mouse pin.

As far as the IL State fair relic; I did some Googling and found it is actually a part of a medal shown here on ebay.
