Last hunt with the GB till Sept

I made it out early this am for 1 last time . Here s what I found...
(10) Quarters
(15) dimes
(11) nickels
(30) pennies 1 1952 wheatie With a letter..too small to tell which mint mark at this time..

Thank you all for your prays for my mom I think she is going to come home for now...
Friday I go to Ca for my vacation and MoM is my brothers problem.
GB has done pretty good. Found a total of $132.62.
Not bad in just 24 hunts. When I get to Ca I'll be using my tesoro Golden,and the diablo umax. and my drywasher.
But my big goal is to spend my Birthday at disneyland on the 15,16 and 17. I'll still be checking in to see how things are going.
Detecting in Ca, I will be hunting in a town with many other metal detector users but I have some speciaql locations thatare not always hunted. We shall see if I can pull a few extra dollars and maybe my first gold of this year ??

Seeing that you also swing a tesoro Golden... I've been thing of a Golden Umax with a Cleansweep coil on sports fields and large parks for added coverage, and wonder if you can swing the golden as fast as the G2 and would it miss anything that the G2 would find?

Well I have made it to ca. First issue is ti get my car smogged. But that should only take this weekend.
As for swinging the coil as fast I think I can swing a bit faster. I find that the gb like slow. Especially good at a nice slow swing to find dimes. I hope to get out to detect by monday.

With the GB Pro you could be very successful as there is still considerable
sub grain flakes in the less pounded fringe areas...

well the bug stayed home..sorry but I got a diablo umax and a GMT to use...but I will most likley just dry wash and not detect at all in the gold fields....
I will be hitting all my local parks and some other sights here in CA.
