last hunt of the year

After adding up my finds since oct 14th (when I became addicted to dirt digging) I thought I needed one more hunt. Got wrapped up with what I needed to do today and headed for a local park at 1:30. from 1:30 to 4:30 I scratched out (ground is frozen solid below 2 inches) a total of 37 coins, 27 pennies, 7 dimes, 3 quarters. So my score for 09 and only hunting 2.5 mos is (drum roll please) 1444 coins (clad) 1 kennedy half, 175 quarters,271 dimes, 88 nickels and 902 pennies. 1, 10 peso gold coin 1, 50 centavos coin 1, 20 centimes french, 1 siver candian 10cent piece 3 canadian pennies and 2 wheats. 3 .925 siver rings and one silver chain. A boat load of junk rings and bracelets, 12 hot wheels cars and more pure fun than I,ve had in years. The biggest find however is checking most of the forum sites here and reading what others are doing, seems to be a real good bunch of people on these sites. I thougoly enjoy your posts. Ed in co.
