Last Hunt Of The Year Today.....

Went out for a quick 1 1/2 hour hunt in my neighborhood and finished the year off with some clad and a heart. Most of the coins were found beside some play equipment, so had I used a larger coil, I would have surely missed them. My next hunt in the city will be using my favorite duo...ACE 250/Sniper coil + GTP 1350/7 x 10 inch coil.

Happy New Year.....See you next year!

Happy New Year to you , too, John. I've only been on this Forum for two weeks, but have learned a heck of a lot.

Will be ordering my new Ace 250 next week, so I can officially be a member of the :garrett: USERS FORUM; not just a Lurker. Really anxious to see how it compares to my :bounty:Titan 2000XD. I think I already know:crazy:

Your fun will soon begin! That ACE 250 is a vacuum cleaner for coins! Make sure you get the larger coil for it down the road. It gets great depth, maintains it's sensitivity and is so easy to pinpoint with. I hung up my stock coil months ago and I doubt if I will ever use it again.:)

Thanks, John. This is a great Forum; I belong to some others which are fun, but this one is both fun and very informative. Not as much silliness to filter through to get the info I'm seeking. Don't get me wrong, I like my other forums, but when I want to learn, I WANT TO LEARN!

I'm also considering jumping past the ACE 250 and into the GTP-1350. My Titan2000XD is a pretty decent shallow coin hunter with 4" coil, but it would be just a back up to the 1350.

Thanks again for the Welcome.
