My brother in law wanted to see how a detector works so we went back to the toll gate site this afternoon for a couple of hours. I detected and he dug. Best finds were a 1918 threepence and a very corroded 1826 English halfpenny. Thanks for looking and a Merry Christmas to all....Ken.
