Last haul of the year.....

I got out for one last hunt for the year today and since they were calling for rain after lunch, I decided to got to a local school and try for nickels.
This is the most I have ever found in one day.. my previous record was 26 with the Sovereign GT some years ago.
These were not deep finds, but I had a lot of trash to pick through... I ran across a few quarters too and had just had to have them too! LOL

Damn.... that's a lot of nickels and quarters. It's funny that we're no dimes or pennies.... But that's metal detecting.

Felix, that is a season of nickels for most people. The 800 is one of the best nickel detectors made.

There are pennies and dimes there also, but I was focusing on nickels.
My thoughts were there would be lots of nickels at this site since I had not looked for them ii past hunts.... this site has given up lots of quarters over the years also, but they are thinning out now.
Mainly posted to show how good the Equinox is at IDing nickels.
