Old Katz

New member
Early morning again with two other
fellow garrett owners. Hit a ball field but as usual NO RINGS.
They just keep hiding!

Called Dept of Natural Resources about lake
levels but they have not changed much even though
its been hotter than &$%^^%$.

Where are those rings!!!!

:usaflag:Nice clad haul....I never find that many quarters in one outing.

It would be great to me to find this amount of coins. I still need to try some park hunting to go after the modern coinage..

Nice finds!

Eric.

Just "getting out" is great in itself  Always nice to find something different, but clad is never bad, congrats on the finds!

This hobby is so hard to explain. I started the year out finding silver rings like mad. Usually one or two a hunt. Then Bam! None for a month. Now finding them again. Same sites, same detector, same technique. Your rings will come, I'm sure.

Here's a little story from a few weeks ago that might be appropriate. I was followed around by this old timer for an hour. Every coin I dug he would remark, "That's impossible. How'd that coin get so deep?" He did this about twenty times before I answered, "I used to wonder than myself but now I just accept the fact that they're there." He agreed that they were indeed there and on my next dig he remarked, "That's impossible. How'd that coin get so deep?" I laughed and asked him if he wanted to have a go at it. He declined but asked if he could have a coin to show his wife. I gave him a few.

Nice little hunt you had, Cat. I can't wait to see your next ring.

Chris
