Well, Friday was an eventful day. I had to get a stress-test, as I just found out I have an abnormal EKG. Well, they had to shave various parts of my torso! Now I'm itching like crazy
That appointment was supposed to take 3 hours or so, but ended up only taking an hour, as I'm basically healthy as a horse. So, I just did what any TH'er worth their detector would do, I went hunting. I had a spot in mind, at a large local park. It's just a grassy spot next to the road, but at several of these type of spots, I've found some nice older coins, so I wanted to take a look-see at this one. I wasn't getting anything other than a few shallow clad coins, when I got another typical signal, High Coin indicated at 1 - 2" down. Well, when I flipped it over, it definitely wasn't clad. Here's what I saw:

Not bad for a quickie hunt. I'm thinking these little grassy spots have probably been used as picnic spots way-back-when, so I'll probably be checking each and every one at this park.
Note: the picture(s) might not show up due to bandwidth limitations. If the picture(s) are not there, check back at a later time.
